=========================================== >>>>>>>>> * What's New * <<<<<<<<< =========================================== IF UPGRADING FROM ANY PROGRAM VERSION PRIOR TO 2.00 YOU SHOULD CONTACT SUPPORT We no longer test for compatibility with Windows 95, 98, Vista or NT. =========================================== Version 2.23.5 Added grid export facility for diary functions in Pro version. Added the ability to automatically run FTP backup in Pro version. Fixed a problem with Hot Groups introduced in version 2.23.0 where the system attempted to send message to a random, pre-existing group instead of the temporary group. Changed the default OSA field when using O2 Managed Text system to a value of 1 to permit concatenated messages. Modified Lone Star Pro so that more than one Mobile number can be allocated to a worker or computer entity to allow for bad coverage areas, mobile and network faults. Modified Lone Star Pro reports to permit daily reports as well as monthly. Adjusted some socket error handling routines to improve resilience. Windows progams may use different character codes for the UK Pound symbol from the ASCII standard. Modified the Email Gateway to work with both 'standards' =========================================== Version 2.23.4 Modified a cleanup query which was causing a repeated (but handled) error. Only shows up in the Sender debug log and only affects people running in name mode. =========================================== Version 2.23.3 Fixed problem with editing Emergency contacts in Lone Star Professional =========================================== Version 2.23.2 Re-introduced a bespoke script facility that was removed in 1999! =========================================== Version 2.23.1 (database V2.3) Installer now places modem driver files in the Drivers sub folder of the folder containing your database. Any message that is in the queue to be sent but has an empty device ID field will be silently ignored. Added new functionality in Lone Star that enables PC users to take a check call manually. Added new functionality in Lone Star Pro for specific remote notifications where devices are being monitored rather than people. Added new table to prevent problems when roaming whie using a fixed, specified SMSC address. If you use Orange, T-Mobile or 3 in the UK and you have specified an SMSC address you need this update for reliable operation. Fixed a problem that allowed message numbers to get too high in Email Gateway. Running multiple Senders in the Pro and Enterprise editions was sometimes creating invalid entries in the queue table (\Options\NoDiary). =========================================== Version 2.23.0 (database V2.2) Improved the logic of the file saving dialogue box when archiving logs. Validity periods are now set and delivery reports requested according to the customer card when using MG4 protocol in the Aris module. Added nested groups to all Pro versions. Resolved a database conflict between Sender and File Importer during heavy use of high speed protocols. Fixed a selection problem when exporting csv log extracts. Refreshing a completely empty log window was crashing Autopage. =========================================== Version 2.22.2 Customers using message age checking in the File Importer were losing messages after BST changed. The checking mechanism was using UTC rather than local computer time, which caused a problem. Improved error handling in Sender to reduce 'sticking' when using various IP based protocols. =========================================== Version 2.22.1 If File Importer encounters .exe or .dll files in the pickup folder when it starts, or immediately after the folder location has been changed, it will make an entry in the Windows event log and then exit if running as a service, or display a message box about the issue then show the settings window is running as an application. No check is made at any other time. Fixed a bug in the Email Gateway where the second and subsequent incoming SMS messages could not be sent through servers configured with non-standard SMTP ports. This probably does not affect any existing users as the problem must have been there since the program was originally written and we have had no reports about it. Many cosmetic adjustments to tidy up the font changes made in 2.22.0 =========================================== Version 2.22.0 (database V2.11) When we updated the Message Queue window we removed some of the old functionality that we thought nobody was using. We have replaced some of it by request: The Green Tick button can now be used to 'resend as urgent' all selected messages as well as re-enabling failed messages. You can control which fields are visible by using the Grid button. You can manually confirm receipt of messages by right-clicking them. When viewing the log, the recycle button will now always work provided that there is both a valid recipient and a message in the current highlighted message, regardless of status. Improved fault handling when using SOAP-based protocols. Fixed a Lonestar Pro report date selection problem. Under newer Windows operating systems it is possible to configure overall preferences so that the font 'MS Sans Serif' (used extensively throughout our products) displays oversize. This was causing problems with captions and headings being partly hidden. From this version onwards we use 'Tahoma' which should not have the same problems. Many minor layout changes to improve font flexibility. Fixed a general SQL protocol issue that was giving unreliable results with some database drivers. =========================================== Version 2.21.2 Adapted the SMPP interface to allow seperate TX and RX binds rather than a single Tranceiver bind. This affects SMPP users only. =========================================== Version 2.21.1 Changes made in 2.21.0 could have caused Lone Star overdue alarms to be delayed by several minutes. Fixed. Made Lone Star Pro report results exportable as CSV files. =========================================== Version 2.21.0 (database V2.10) Tested in Windows 7. All programs run and those that can be run as services will run as services. Added fault recovery options in Sender Pro that will prevent old messages being sent after major communication problems. Users of File Importer Pro should note that there is now an additional report code: 16 - Rejected by Autopage - File too old. Changed code in Sender where failed message count was not always being incremented if certain database drivers were installed. Recently edited record values are now held elswhere in memory for calculation purposes where necessary. Users may notice that the page fail count reduces to 0 if messages are subsequently re-enabled. Changed functions used to browse for a directory in File Importer settings and Sender's Export Folder setting. Fixed problem where Lone Star could crash if you tried to create a duplicated contact. In Lone Star Professional you can now copy all contacts from one worker to another and adjust contact priority more easily. Added two reports for Lone Star Professional. These reports can take up undue processor time so they are accessed from Autopage for Windows - Reports, Special Reports. Any device added to '(BLACKLISTED)'(curly braces!) will be ignored by all programs. Add the Name to Customers and the associated Number will be barred, even if the number is also allocated to another Customer. This also applies to incoming SMS. This works even if running in Number mode. Added SMPP connection status to broadcast text if SMPP is enabled. =========================================== Version 2.20.3 (database V2.09) Complete re-write of SMPP gateway. Autopage now supports Verions 3.3, 3.4 and 5.0 Database updated to handle SMPP specific fields Adjusted File Import routines to disallow spaces as mobile numbers. Some improvements to the Support Assistant to prevent errors when removing a downloaded file when user has restricted permissions. =========================================== Version 2.20.2 Recompiled all applications and signed with new certificate =========================================== Version 2.20.1 Modified the way that Sender communicates using a USB port when attached to a Wavecom Fastrack GO USB due to idiosyncrasies in the current Wavecom drivers. =========================================== Version 2.20.0 Added support for the Wavecom Fastrack GO USB Added support for receiving UCS2 16bit Character set over GSM Added neighbouring cell analysis in Sender Improved the (optional) Form & Menu security setting form to make it more user-friendly Fixed a problem in Email Gateway with decoding incoming SMTP with soft line breaks sometimes causing embedded '=' in outgoing SMS Added security control to Message Buttons. =========================================== Version 2.19.6 Modified Autopage and Sender to permit one-way SMS (with reports) via the internet. Added new database user permissions Changed packet sending routines in SMTP gateway to allow for certain SMTP client hardware that was expecting only single packet responses. Fixed a zip file handling problem in the Support Assistant. Setup was resetting existing file import/export directories when updating an installation. =========================================== Version 2.19.5 Improved error handling when working with Esendex messages. Fixed a problem in Lone Star where an unexpected incoming call from a worker not booked in could cause it to appear that a worker that is booked in has hit the Panic Button. Added an option in the support assistant to attempt to send files without logging people out first. =========================================== Version 2.19.4 Added a routine to delete all read incoming messages from a SIM as some SIM/GSM Modem combinations are preventing reliable individual message deletion. Fully redesigned queue view in Autopage so that it looks and works more like the grid in Sender: new search facility, enabled multi-select, disable, re-enable and delete buttons. Altered the way that 'suppress local messages' works so that it can be set true and incoming messages are still exported. Changed format of auto-archived file names to 'Up-To-YYYY-MM-DD.log' so that they list chronologically. Default file names when manually exporting or archiving in Autopage also match this format. Fixed an SQL problem when exporting log extracts under certain conditions. If Sender fails for any reason while Lone Star is running, the event will be shown in a new 'Help Needed' window. =========================================== Version 2.19.3 Improved data sharing method in SNPP result checking. =========================================== Version 2.19.2 If Lone Star sent a 'book off' reminder and the worker replied with '.Check' instead of '.Off', the duty status stayed as 'Reminder' instead of switching to 'Overdue' and alarming. Sending '.Check' when no check call is due for the remainder of the duty will now generate an error message to the remote worker. Character limits enforced in Operators form. Debug logs in all programs will not now exceed 10Mb. Up to 99 previous versions will be kept but ALL will be deleted when the (999).log is full. Numbering will then start again from 001. SNPP server will now mark messages for deletion by Sender when KTAG is issued, rather delete them directly. =========================================== Version 2.19.1 Added special functions to Lone Star Pro to permit sensible operation when monitoring software installations instead of people. Changed default permitted character set to full GSM character set. =========================================== Version 2.19.0 Improved resilience in the general 'cleanup' routines. It was possible for two different processes to try and remove the same dead messages from the queue, causing unreconciled conflicts. The Zip filename created by the Support Assistant now includes date/time information. File Importer will clear the results directory if it fills up, rather than wait for space to appear. =========================================== Version 2.18.0 Added the ability to specify which of the available local NIC IP addresses to use for the Email gateway and SNPP server. Added empty MSTA string detection to SNPP server. If you exported an individual log extract as a CSV file you got the whole log, not just that individual's log. Fixed. Allowed definition of the system-help request string in Ask-John. This frees the word HELP for use as a normal database query. Corrected BETA code for setting Validity Periods in Orange M2MConnect to match released WSDL. =========================================== Version 2.17.2 Allowed 'KTAG' in SNPP server without '2WAY' for compatibility with a 3rd Party application. Made some connection timings in Orange M2MConnect client user definable (registry only) Added 'Permissions Test' button to Support Assistant. If a GPRS provider is disabled, Sender will not now try to initialise the APN. =========================================== Version 2.17.1 Fixed some cosmetic issues on Customer forms that allowed users to set validity period and request delivery reports when these were not available on certain Service providers. Fixed a problem with delivery reports in Orange M2MConnect protocols. Checked and updated Esendex connectivity. =========================================== Version 2.17.0 If you use the Diary function in Autopage or Neuropage you should install this update as soon as possible. We found a way that your entire diary could have been deleted by any mobile in the database. =========================================== Version 2.16.1 Replaced global calendar control. Increased serial port setting numbers in Sender from 15 to 64 as Windows never re-uses a port once allocated. Removed redundant runtime packages from Setup. Setup for 2.16.0 cleaned up old copies of Autopage.ini causing an error in the Confirmation system. When reloading the new Neuropage form some defaults were not being reset. =========================================== Version 2.16.0 Added new diary functionality to Neuropage: random event geneation for individuals following defined rules. Fixed bug in Sender where a closing TCP socket could cause the program to crash (40006 error) under certain circumstances. Autopage Pro products can all now send ordinary messages to Customers in the database while Sender is running in Number mode. Modified SNPP Gateway to allow polling for unsolicited incoming messages including pager messages coming via a Confirmation Module. Modified Confirmation module to allow the option to just add incoming messages to the Autopage Log. =========================================== Version 2.15.6 SNPP Gateway launched as separate product with full '2WAY' functionality. This includes spoofing MULTICHOICE and YESNO RTYPes on GSM phones. Changes made to Sender to accomodate incoming traffic for the SNPP server. Added routine to clear 'orphaned' import records. Added capability to cope with short code numbers in Lone Star. =========================================== Version 2.15.5 Remote message problem notification now works when Sender is in number mode. Added Simple Confirmation to Pro version. Added validity period handling ready for the new version of Orange M2M connect platform. Sender will detect when the new facility is available. Fixed a problem when adding people to groups in Autopage caused by changes in Lone Star Pro. If you have created a special 'Lone Star Alert' group in an earlier version you should delete it then re-create it. Fixed problem where File Importer could return a false code 11 failure when there had been no failure. =========================================== Version 2.15.4 All SMSC addresses now decoded correctly, regardless of format. SMSC is not delivered by Orange M2M Connect so destination MSISDN is recorded for incoming messages. Clear expiry date and some cosmetic changes added to diary function for NeuroPage. Fixed minor problem in Date/Time control that allowed users to crash programs! =========================================== Version 2.15.3 SMSC address of incoming SMS is now visible in log view. Personal diary developed for Neuropage is now available in Autopage Pro. =========================================== Version 2.15.2 SMSC address of incoming SMS is recorded under 'Service Provider' in the Log when available. Lone Star: Added acknowledgemment messages for check calls. If worker requests first check call to be later than book-off time it will be ignored. No Error occurs. Fixed bug that caused a pre-existing duty to be deleted when clearing its alarm that occured when Lone Star was set to 'Allow all Panic' calls and 'Allow auto-add'. This same bug could also have caused confusion if a worker had a diary event scheduled in Autopage. Initial sort order of 'Reports' set to 'ascending date'. =========================================== Version 2.15.1 Added bulk diary changing for Neuropage. This allows administrators to switch blocks of messages on and off by varying all start and expiry dates for a single patient. Changed the algorithm for missed diary events (Autopage and Lone Star) so that when the software is re-started missed events are never sent but the next event due will be calculated as if they had. Previously, ALL missed events were sent once immediately on re-start. Lone Star will now accept a book-on with the check-call field set to 0. (for compatibility with third-party software) Added global alarm silence functionality to Lone Star pro. As a result all Lone Star clients now use a global mute period value. A file used to enforce relaying all incoming messages was being held locked by Sender. A ZIP file sent manually from Support can now be processed by dragging it onto the Support Assistant 'Files to be processed' box. =========================================== Version 2.12.21 Added support for 'proper' delivery reports when using Orange M2M Connect. M2M users should tick the new box 'Use Legacy Reporting' until Orange make the new feature available and customers have enabled the feature on their Orange M2M accounts. Corrected standard grid-click error in Lone Star and right-click grid action for duties in Lone Star Pro. =========================================== Version 2.12.20 (database V2.06) Added the ability for users to disable Primary and/or Secondary Service provider script. This is intended for use in an emergency where an internet connection, modem or GSM device has failed and is awaiting attention. Added fields to database for these flags. Also added a database history table. Modified default SNPP script for better fault handling. If you use SNPP you should import the revised script. In Lone Star Pro an error could occur if a worker hit the Panic Button and no contacts were defined. =========================================== Version 2.12.19 Enhanced the remote reporting facility using the Watchdog function to make it compatible with Lone Star. Fixed a problem with the diary function when using 'Every Weekday' as the repeat parameter. When accessing certain paging systems using TAP over IP a failure of the paging server could lock Sender into a perpetual loop. Fixed. =========================================== Version 2.12.18 Spurious leading and trailing spaces are now removed from incoming SMS when passing them to Lone Star processes. Introduced Professional Features for Lone Star: emergency contact form and remote alerts. Allowed Sender more time to start GSM functionality before checking to see if SIM PIN is required. Changed some variable types in Aris that may have been causing intermittent overflow errors when logging or debugging were turned on. =========================================== Version 2.12.17 (database V2.05) - Not Released Added table and queries in preparation for Lone Star Pro. =========================================== Version 2.12.16 Fixed the problem in 2.12.15 only where you had to run split senders to use O2 Managed Text and Orange M2M Connect. Improved result logging algorithms. Set default failover values to 10 seconds. Improved database logging and control in the event of certain kinds of message failure - e.g no data received. Sender discovers an unavailable serial port much more efficiently than before. =========================================== Version 2.12.15 Stopped empty incoming messages being passed on to anyone. They just get logged now. Revised queries used to check and clear accepted and delivered messages. Prevented split Senders from checking O2 Managed Text and Orange M2M Connect for delivery reports and incoming messages if not appropriate. Added enhanced timing and auto-failover management. =========================================== Version 2.12.14 Improvements to report checking and queue updating algorithms. =========================================== Version 2.12.13 (Database V2.04) Changes to accommodate O2 Managed Text Services. Removed unused controls from 'Customers' form that were causing a minor error when unloaded. Message Problems form now allows word wrap so you can read the whole problem by making the lines wider. =========================================== Version 2.12.12 When 'ignore TMP files' is set in the File Importer, all results and incoming messages will be written to a TMP files which will then be renamed according to the existing conventions. Regardless of the write method selected, these files are locked against all access until they are complete. =========================================== Version 2.12.11 Adjusted editing facilities for operators. You cannot delete SUPERVISOR any more. Fixed a problem with reporting in File Importer when using number mode and 'Simple Results'. New Autopage company image incorporated into all products. =========================================== Version 2.12.10 Introduced 'Simple Results' into File Importer. If enabled, this causes the system to return only one result file per attempted message. The file will contain either the 'accepted' code or the 'not accepted' code. Messages are handled in the usual way apart from this. Introduced custom control of CD line when using modem emulation in Aris. =========================================== Version 2.12.9 Added 'Save to CSV' option in Lone Star reports. Allowed more time for data to refresh when adding customers automatically in Aris. Added the ability to turn off smart routing for incoming SMS messages forwarded emails. =========================================== Version 2.12.8 Re-compiled 2.12.7 due to corruption in one module. Version number changed for clarity. =========================================== Version 2.12.7 EVERYONE WITH VERSIONS 2.12.5 OR 2.12.6 SHOULD INSTALL THIS VERSION AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Various lookup forms (based on the same code) would cause a program to crash if no records were found and the user selected OK. OK is now disabled if no records are found. Made further changes to some Windows API calls to try to maintain backward compatibility with NT4. We support existing customers still using NT. Certain combinations of program and communication options could cause recursion to occur if Sender writes to Sender.log AND the file size is greater than about 20Mb - i.e. the point at which it should be renamed and a new log started. Tidied up some minor GUI issues in Autopage. =========================================== Version 2.12.6 Error and Debug logs will now be generated in the 'All Users' area rather than the logged on user's area. Logs previously created in the current user's area will be deleted on exit from support module if 'clear up' is selected. Added 'Confirmation Number' to log view options in Autopage for Windows Adjusted some internal Windows API calls =========================================== Version 2.12.5 (2.12.4 not released) Permanent fix to Sender to cope with further changes to Orange M2M platform. =========================================== Version 2.12.3 Urgent fix to Sender to cope with unannounced changes to Orange M2M platform. Fixed a problem with debug code in the Aris module when running in MG4 mode Support assistant no longer logs out all users when collecting data unless the working Autopage database is included. Script for Orange M2M Connect adjusted. =========================================== Version 2.12.2 After making an early check call in Lone Star the next one was being scheduled X minutes after the call was due. It is now scheduled X minutes after the check call was made. Improved support for full GSM character set in all products. =========================================== Version 2.12.1 Improved TCP/IP reporting of Sender activity and fixed a problem that could cause multiple Senders to hang if the one that started first was stopped for any reason. =========================================== Version 2.12.0 (database V2.03) - Not Released Added the capability to run multiple Senders based on service provider rather than device number. Added full MG4 protocol handling and some bespoke message functionality to Aris to replace that in 'Firemon' Embedded new code for NeuroPage. Fixed several cosmetic problems in the Autopage Diary form - it is now re-sizeable, double-click editing works properly now as do the time spinners on message editing boxes. Grids are now refreshed automatically (if 'Auto-refresh grids' is set on), When adding/editing operator names and typing in lower case, cursor was returning to the left of the box after each character causing names to be entered backwards. Sender did not always carry out an IMSI detach when shut down by services manager. Re-Fixed the logging problem described in V2.9.18 update: the old log file was not being renamed properly so current file could not be renamed either. =========================================== Version 2.11.1 READ CAREFULLY IF YOU ARE A LONESTAR USER OR IF YOU DEPEND ON MOBILE NUMBER LOOK-UPS Some cross-network traffic causes inconsistent display of caller ID - sometimes the incoming call is in the format 0nnnnnnnnnn other times it is in the correct international format e.g. 44nnnnnnnnnn. This can vary for a single mobile depending on whether you are seeing an incoming voice call (panic button) or incoming SMS. All incoming mobile identities beginning with a zero are now converted to international format using the Windows locale settings to establish the correct code. So, if you are using the system on a PC set up for the UK the 0 will be replaced by 44: in the Irish Republic a 0 will be replaced by 353 etc. =========================================== Version 2.11.0 ARIS performance improved when running in modem emulation mode: Sets CD line (via correct Null modem cable) on answer and clears on disconnect. Responds more accurately to AT commands Xn and Vn. Improvements in modem drive mode to keep port 'awake'. Support module improved to utilise customer's default browser rather than use built-in Internet Explorer all the time. =========================================== Version 2.10.3 Saving and editing operators sometimes caused unexpected failure indications when there weren't any. =========================================== Version 2.10.2 Some installations of the Email Gateway were falling over if someone tried to send a multi-megabyte message to a mobile. This was caused by a shortage of memory resources caused by the way that we temporarily stored the incoming file. In future any email over approx. 1Mb will be firmly rejected. No attempt will be now made to parse any text portion of the offending item. When run as a service Email Gateway sometimes registered as 'Simple'. If this has happened, and it bothers you, call support. Functionality is not affected. The numeric responses within Aris were surrounded by Carriage Return and Linefeed characters instead of just Carriage Return. Fixed. Some Wavecom specific commands were causing confusing results. Ensured that this particular function is always turned off. When editing (sometimes) and deleting (always) from customers, service providers or groups you would be returned to the first record each time, making the deletion of several records very tedious. System now moves to the next record if there is one, or the previous one if not. =========================================== Version 2.10.1 Lone Star was ignoring the setting for 'Late Check Call' messages. This was caused by an incorrectly set constant. The fix involves both Lone Star and Sender. ARIS will now switch between giving verbose and numeric response codes when it is emulating a modem and receives an AT command to do so. Also resets on receipt of &Fn. =========================================== Version 2.10.0 The Code in the Windows Services introduced in Version 2.9.10 has proved stable, so it is now included by default where relevant. All the following products can now be run either as services or applications. Once installed as services they will be updated automatically whenever you run setup. Autopage Sender (sender.exe) Ask-John (Ask-John.exe) Autopage Remote Input Server (Aris.exe) Autopage Email Gateway (Smtp2sms.exe) Autopage File Importer (Import.exe) Autopage Confirmation System (confirmation.exe) =========================================== Version 2.9.18 & 2.9.19 Corrected a registry lookup so that users can control valid characters again. Made all Lone Star response messages user-definable. Added functionality to choose from a list of Night Service providers and transfer Lone Star duties from one Night Service to another. Some users have been (accidentally) running continuous debugging logs causing serious loss of performance in some cases. The size of these logs is now limited to just under 20Mb. When this size is reached they will be renamed 'old.log' after deleting any existing file of the same name. =========================================== Version 2.9.16 & 2.9.17 Added the capability within Lonestar to send user-defined responses to ALL messages. Also added the ability to set duty times to a custom multiple rather than the default 5 minutes. A side-effect of this allows you to define the diary settings in Autopage to your own multiple rather than 5 minute increments. Fixed problem with new diary entries in a previously unused table. Fixed a problem with the database updater which had been trashing the table that controlled the visibility of forms, menus and controls. From this version onwards the updater will: 1) Work properly if the table is complete. 2) Rebuild the table with default values if it is missing or detected as damaged. Some customers have bespoke settings - please call support to get these re-instated if necessary. =========================================== Version 2.9.14 & 2.9.15 Autopage: Bottom-left status panel returns to normal after errors are cleared and error form is closed. In queue view, problem messages now turn red (again) after refresh. Removed code from Sender that should synchronise GSM device with Windows but was causing instability in some early Wavecoms. May re-introduce after investigation. Lone Star could sometimes report that sender was not running when it was - fixed Ask-John modified to allow lookup on numeric and boolean fields. If using a custom-defined query you can force a precise match by making the search field name entirely uppercase. Aris can now be set to look in Groups only for the requested pager/phone name/number =========================================== Version 2.9.12 & 2.9.13 (not released) Allow custom definition of message confirmation markers Fixed problem in Autopage where 'problem message' panel didn't disappear even after problem was cleared Changed syntax in some queries to avoid inconsistent results. IP address changed to 'www.paging.vodafone.net' in Vodafone Paging script. If you use Vodafone Paging via the internet already see the FAQ at http://support.autopage.info =========================================== Version 2.9.10 Made Sender a little more tolerant to database problems when deleting complete, imported messages. Added a patch to cope with incoming SMS messages with IEI set to 10. Changed the 'KeyWord' Index in the sample Ask-John database to allow duplicates. In this and all future versions where the number after the second point is even the executable is an application. If odd, it is intended to run as a Windows Service. =========================================== Version 2.9.9 Ask-John included as a product. Modified Sender so that it only 'escapes' three characters (<>&) when using Soap or XML as a bearer. Changed IMSI detach code so that GSM device does not re-register automatically when software is stopped. Some versions of Sender prior to this one caused a few dateless log entries as a result of manual stop/start actions. This will no longer occur. Those that are in the log will be removed automatically during any future purge or archive. =========================================== Version 2.9.8 Added a new menu to Autopage to allow users to disable/enable automatic refresh of grids. Cleaned up some legacy code in Sender that was duplicating some recording in the log file. New ActiveX DLLs for the support module to fix problem that occurred when sending many files and a large database. Database was being encrypted with an unknown password. Changed database serial number entry during setup to be case insensitive. In the Buttons application clearing 'custom fonts' was not remembered on next start. =========================================== Version 2.9.7 Fixed problem of two OCX files not being installed on Windows 2003 Server R2 Updated database format Fine tuned a number of issues related to database update Added some extra debug code =========================================== Version 2.93 Fixed setup problem Fixed problem caused when running under NT and trying to use the APPDATA path: applications will create their own sub-directories under the application directory if APPDATA is not set. =========================================== Version 2.92 'Send Later' did not work unless 'Send Now' had been used at least once during a session. Date/Time Selector no has a spin button on hours and minutes. Focus moves to message box when individual or group is selected on 'Send Message' form. Last Message button now functions correctly. Many functional changes to improve Sender's stability when using Orange M2M connect platform. Changes to internal installer routines Screensaver V1.0.3 is now more sensitive to mousemoves. =========================================== Version 2.83 Autopage Fixed problem with Group Diary Events and temporary fix for log-on delays in multi-user environments. Database version 2.01 Added/modified tables etc. to handle Lone Star Night Service capability. Sender 2.8.1 Modified socket recovery procedures to prevent TCP/IP reporting failing when also sending messages using TCP/IP. Problems were being caused by over-zealous use of the Windows 'sockets cleanup' function. Autopage 2.8.1 Changed Date/Time format in Queue and Log forms to show time first. Made Log view columns moveable! Delete local grdPersonLog.lyt from the application directory for changes to take effect. =========================================== Version 2.82 Installer Added registry setting of default alarm sound for all Lone Star users Lone Star Fixed database access problem with buttons in Duties form. =========================================== Version 2.81 Installer Form and Menu Security settings were being deleted from the database. Fixed. File Importer 2.8.3 Changed a library query that was causing a GPF in DA0360.DLL. Problem reported to Microsoft as potential bug in Microsoft DAO V3.6 Corrected /Log switch operation =========================================== Program Version 2.8 September 2005 All programs rebuilt. All version numbers synchronised. Database Version 2.0 September 2005 New structure and drivers
